I'm trying, Jerry, but seriously, September has started off with a bang!
I'm working on a bunch of stuff, as per usual, and I'm back at the day job subbing in SPED classes.
Hold Me Closer has had another title change - it's now Scars On Our Hearts. I was trying way too hard with Wild and Free and Hold Me Closer - I kept attempting to get those exact words in conversation and it was supa forced and weird. Ha!
Speaking of, SOOH is in the editing stage still. My new publication goal is before the end of the year. I can mostly work on it on the weekends at the moment until I get a better idea of what my subbing schedule will be.
My witchy assassin trilogy has become a six-part novella series called WHICH. I'm in the episode outlining stage of that and am definitely amped to get started on it in the new year. My goal is to dictate the first drafts and release the episodes every two weeks.
I'm up to cutting and editing episode 4 of Undressing. It's a doozy! In this particular episode we have multiple flash forwards to several different ages and it's hard to get rid of anything! Except it really needs to be reworked and Becca's too close to the material (she wrote this one) to decide what to cut, so it's up to me. BLARGH. My goal is to do 10 pages a week until I've figured it out. :)
I've revamped my newsletter and have a new freebie when you sign up - it's the Write Free Press starter pack - Glimpse, Day of Sacrifice, and Crossing. I'll be offering that to current subscribers of the Stacey Wallace Benefiel/Stacey Wallace newsletters - now all together under the Write Free Press name. I'm sending that out later today. I will also be sending out a monthly newsletter on the 13th of each month.
That's ALL that's going on September (it's enough). Talk to you all next month!
